PDGF is a protein biologic and is the most potent growth factor found in the human body. It regenerates tissue, collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and even bone. It is up to 400 times the potency of PRP/PRF.
This is a recombinant form, meaning this a synthetic and identical version of the human endogenous protein and does NOT require a blood draw.
-
These growth factors signal the body to recruit fibroblasts, which are the body’s signal cells to build new collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and more.
-
PDGF is kept sterile and is injected into areas of need or applied topically for post treatment recovery.
You can expect mild swelling, redness, potential bruising.
Days 1-14 you may see hyperpigmentation due to an increase in new blood vessels development. This is normal and will resolve.
Results can be seen 6-8 weeks after treatment. A series of 1-3 treatments is typically recommended.
